Doc Martin The well known television series is set in the picturesque harbour of Port issac. You can be taken through the narrow streets being shown the film locations like the doc's cottage, the old drug store, the school and the Platt where the market scenes are filmed.

Echo Beach and Moving Wallpaper

As we head towards the summer everyone is dreaming of the Cornish beaches. The dream has become easier to visualise due to the recent shows Echo Beach and Moving Wallpaper which were filmed on the local beach of Watergate Bay. This is a popular beach near Newquay. Some of the other filming took place on the other side of Cornwall for the harbour scenes. I had the chance of gaining some inside information when I worked with the crew during filming which has given me some interesting tales to tell. If you are a fan of the actors or the shows then you will enjoy this day out.
